I truly had my greatest experience with getting a tattoo from Florani. She made me feel so comfortable with our first ever meeting, and especially throughout the consultation and tattoo process. It was such a breath of fresh air compared to my previous experiences. Not to mention, Florani is incredibly talented with her art and skills! I could not stop looking at her work the whole time. The piece I got is so beautiful and it’s absolutely my favorite that I’ve gotten so far. I can’t wait until it fully heals and possibly get some more pieces done by her in the future.

We lucked out with a last minute appointment with Jasmynn. With 24 hour notice she was able to come up with an amazing tattoo. I had an idea in my head and she worked with me to take my idea and turn it into something beautiful and unexpected, but somehow exactly what I hoping for! Her work (black and grey realism) is amazing and it was a fantastic experience. I’ve gotten so many compliments on it already. Already planning my next one with her on my next visit to O’ahu!

Flo absolutely nailed it. I came in with a clear vision for a Baybayin piece and she brought it to life with perfection. She not only captured exactly what I requested but even added thoughtful touches that made the design stand out even more. Before the tattoo, she took the time to do a full consultation walking me through every detail, from the flow to the placement which made the whole process smooth and stress free. The session itself was clean, comfortable, and organized. We took breaks when needed, and it honestly felt like I’d known her for years, she’s such a natural connector and brings great energy to her work. Overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Flo is not only talented but truly gifted at her craft. I’m beyond happy with how everything turned out and already planning to get more work done with her. Highly recommend

My first experience at Kapwa Tattoo was amazing. The studio was easy to find, all of the artists carried such a great vibe, and the space was very clean and welcoming—it truly felt like home. Booking my appointment with the artist I wanted was a simple and smooth process. I worked with Flo, and she really helped bring my vision to life with her creative outlook. We designed a plumeria (pua melia) lei wrapped around my forearm, with a cross going through the back of the lei. Flo executed my vision perfectly. Her work is beautiful, and I really appreciated how gentle and detail-oriented she was throughout the entire process. This was also my first large piece, and she was incredibly patient with me, allowing us to take breaks when needed. Overall, 10/10 experience and I would definitely come back to get another piece here again :)

I had a great experience getting my tattoo done at Kapwa! Jasmynn did an incredible job and really listened to what I wanted. She helped bring it to life in a way that honored my grandparents and I’m really grateful for that. The whole process was a breeze from consultation to design to application. Not to mention what a kind and easy to talk to gem of a human, made the space feel not only comfortable but genuinely enjoyable. Lex her apprentice was great to chat with too! The shop space is super clean, welcoming, with a great vibe and full of brilliant artists doing some really cool things! 15/10 recommend for all your meaningful, high quality artistry.
